Scheduled for March 14-18, 2018, the 15th annual CineKink NYC will feature a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality.

Scheduled for March 14-18, 2018, the 15th annual CineKink NYC will feature a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality.
Billing itself as "the kinky film festival," the event is presented by CineKink, an organization dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television. With offerings drawn from both the independent cinema world and the adult, works presented at CineKink NYC will range from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, slightly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between.
"We are thrilled, and slightly dumb-founded, to be celebrating our 15th anniversary this year," said Lisa Vandever, Co-Founder and Director of CineKink. "Looking back on all the films we've presented since 2003, it's so gratifying that we've been able to connect so many smart and sexy works with an appreciative, like-minded audience. And we're looking forward to another year of it!"
In light of the growing #MeToo movement, and drawing upon the emphasis that CineKink has placed on consent in their programming over the years, a screening titled "Consent Counts," and a related panel discussion, are already slated for inclusion in the festival.
In addition, plans for CineKink NYC include a short film competition, audience choice awards, a "Bring It!" adult entertainment showdown, panels and workshops, a kick-off gala, and a sizzling "Afterglow" play party to wrap the festivities. A tour is set to take place in the months following the festival, showcasing audience favorites from the NYC selections.
The festival line-up and schedule for CineKink NYC will be announced in February, and tickets will be available shortly after.

Dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television, CineKink is looking to blur boundaries and will be considering offerings drawn from both the mainstream film world and the adult, with selections ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between.
Scheduled for its 15th annual appearance in March 2018, the specially-curated CineKink NYC will feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a "Bring It!" adult entertainment showcase/contest, a gala kick-off event and a sexy closing-night party. A national tour will follow, showcasing favorites from the NYC festival selections.

A reminder, since time is running out...CineKink - "the kinky film festival" - is seeking films, videos and original digital series, of any length and genre, that explore and celebrate a wide diversity of sexuality.

Cutting across orientations, topics covered at CineKink have included--but are by no means limited to--BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, non-monogamy and polyamory, roleplay and gender bending, sex work and sex geekery. Basically, as long as it involves consenting adults, just about anything celebrating sex as a right of self expression is fair game. (Far be it from us to define "kink." If you think your work might make sense in this context, please send it along - just make sure it has something to do with sex!)
Scheduled for its 15th annual appearance in March 2018, the specially-curated CineKink NYC will also feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special adult entertainment showcase/contest, a gala kick-off event and our infamous closing-night Afterglow party. A national tour will follow, highlighting favorites from the NYC festival selections.
Discounted, "early-bird" entries have a post-marked deadline of September 22nd, while the "regular" deadline is October 20th and the "late" deadline is November 17th, with submission fees increasing at each tier. An "extended deadline" runs until December 1st for works submitted via FilmFreeway or Withoutabox only.
As always, entry fees are waived for CineKink-alumni directors, provided they are submitted by the "late" deadline of November 17th. Waiver information has been emailed to all alumni.
