We gearing up for another go, so save the dates and make plans to join us...March 14-19, 2017!
Scheduled for our 14th annual appearance, in addition to sexy film screenings, the specially-curated CineKink NYC will also feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special "Bring It!" adult entertainment throw-down, presentations, a gala kick-off event AND a smoldering Afterglow.
Plus a few more surprises in the works...don't miss this centerpiece affair of our 2017 season!

Filmmakers...it's your last call to be a part of CineKink NYC, the flagship event that also determines the programming for our tour appearances next year!
CineKink --"the kinky film festival"--is seeking films, videos and digital series for our 2017 season. Dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television, we're looking to blur some boundaries and will be considering works ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between. Shorts, features, excerpts and original web series accepted!
The FINAL, extended online-only deadline is NEXT Thursday, December 8.

** SAD NEWS / MIKE SKIFF
Very sad news about filmmaker, Mike Skiff, who passed last week from HPV-related throat cancer. We were very proud to showcase Mike’s work, including the documentaries 'Kink Crusaders' and 'Folsom Forever,' at CineKink, and even prouder to count him as a friend. A crusader himself for documenting the Leather community and its history, even in illness his activism continued, as he fought to reduce stigma and misunderstanding around the source of his cancer. His husband, Tony, had this to say: "He loved me unconditionally as he did all of you. His passion for what he believed in and stood for and stood against was limitless and boundless. When he championed a cause, there was no greater foot soldier to carry the message or fight for victory than Mike. He had a special love for the gay community in general and the Leather Community (of which he was a proud member) in particular and sought to tell their stories in ways no one else could, would or dared. All of you will remember h
im in your own special way, the times you shared and the impact he had on your lives. Thank you for the moving tributes posted to his wall. I'm so deeply touched by each one of them. My heart and soul are heavy but my spirit celebrates a life lived spectacularly and a legacy that will endure for generations."
We send much love to Tony, and to Mike's enormous circle of friends. We’ll pass along news of a memorial, which is expected to take place next year, as soon as we have it.
