Wet Spots to Appear at CineKink NYC Film Festival
NEW YORK, NY; September 21, 2006 - The Wet Spots, a popular musical sex comedy duo, will headline the CineKink NYC kick-off gala to be held at 8 pm on October 17, 2006 at Bacchus (515 W. 29th Street, NYC).
Pairing sophisticated lyrics with sweet, catchy melodies, the Wet Spots (Cass King and John Woods) are known for lively performances that incorporate sing-alongs, spankings and bawdy sex-education, and a musical repertoire inspired by the risqué, satirical songs of Monty Python, Trey Parker & Matt Stone, Tenacious D and Tom Lehrer. Fresh from a world tour, the duo will be performing such melodious musical marvels as "Bi-Curious George," "Piggy Pile" and "Labia Limbo," along with their internet music video smash hit, "Do You Take It...?" Scheduled for October 17-22, 2006, the fourth annual CineKink NYC film festival will feature a carefully-curated program of works that explore and celebrate a wide diversity of sexuality. In addition to screenings, plans for the event also include a short film competition, audience choice awards, presentations and parties, all to be followed by a national showcase tour.
