>We’ve got so much great programming jammed into CineKink NYC this year, we thought a headliner overview of the schedule might give you a firmer grasp on how you’re going to be spending October 17-22nd!

Kick-Off!
This year’s kick off gala moves to Bacchus and meeting us there will be none other than that fabulous cabaret duo, The Wet Spots! Pairing sophisticated lyrics with sweet, catchy melodies, the Wet Spots are known for lively performances that incorporate sing-alongs, spankings and bawdy sex-education. Fresh from a world tour, the duo will be performing such melodious musical marvels as “Bi-Curious George,” “Piggy Pile” and their internet music video smash hit, “Do You Take It?”

Wednesday
The action then moves to Anthology Film Archives, where we’ll remain for the rest of the festival screenings. First up, on Wednesday, October 18 at 7 PM, is the festival’s season opener, Notorious Bettie Page, which artfully traces the pin-up icon’s rise to infamy. Then, at 9 PM, it’s a trip to London for the 15th anniversary celebration of the world’s largest fetish/body arts club, Torture Garden TGX.

Thursday
On Thursday, October 19 at 6:30 PM is Vice and Consent, a documentary visit with such prominent, long-standing members of the BDSM community as Midori, Jay Wiseman, Janet Hardy and Cleo Dubois. At 8:30 PM, The Sex Movie brings together four long-time friends for a sexy evening of cat-and-mouse. Then, at 10:30 PM, The Amateurs begs the question of whether three would-be pornographers will ever achieve their dubious aim.

Friday
On Friday, October 20 at 6:30 PM, it’s Webcam Girls, a funny and engaging visit with four outspoken pioneers of the girlcam frontier, including NYC’s own Ducky Doolittle. At 8:30 PM a program of explicit works created with a female audience in mind, “Chick Flicks,” debunks the silly notion that women aren’t visually responsive beings. And at 10:30 PM, Other People’s Mirrors is a dark, pseudo sci-fi centered around one woman’s belief that by following the taboo-breaking directives of alien beings she will escape to her own nirvana.

Saturday
Kicking off Saturday, October 21 at 12:30 PM, Orgasmic Women: 13 Self-Loving Divas share their intimate insights with renowned sexologist Betty Dodson. At 2:30 PM, Tears Before Bedtime takes a jaunt through the world of S/M and kink in Sydney, Australia. At 4:30, an illustrious panel of New York-based directors discusses “The State of Smut: NYC,” with moderator Audacia Ray and plenty of clips to back them up. At 6:30 PM, it’s “Power Plays,” short works that probe, prod and play with the dynamics of sexual power and fantasy, followed by “Passion Plays” at 8:30 PM, a collection of erotic, sometimes explicit pieces that dance along the supposed boundary of art, including the just-banned-in-Australia Damon and Hunter. And, rounding out the CineKink NYC screening schedule at 10:30 PM, it’s O – Power of Submission, a lush contemporary adaptation of the literary S/M classic from veteran director Ernest Greene.

CineKink Awards Celebration – Sunday
On Sunday, you get to sleep in a bit – then it’s time to put on your shiny finery and head back to Bacchus to toast this year’s fantastic crop of CineKink filmmakers and award winners. Scheduled for 7 PM, the festivities will feature encore screenings of jury-selected best shorts from the festival, along with presentations of the festival’s annual awards.

But wait, there’s more! – then stick around for the Afterglow Party, starting at 8:30 PM, your last chance to meet and, er, mingle with like-minded festival-goers. Lounge on the sofas, descend into the pillow pit or even recline across a spanking bench and settle in for one final evening of featured screenings and CineKinky goodness playing out all around you. Not to be missed!
